“Families are the tie that reminds us of yesterday, provide strength and support today, and give us hope for tomorrow.”  Bill Owens

Home Based Care

Across our communities, people living with HIV/AIDS face not only the physical burden of the disease but also the heavy weight of stigma. Misunderstanding and fear often lead to rejection by relatives, neighbors, and friends—at the very moment when compassion and support are needed most.

TAFCOM’s Home-Based Care program steps into this gap, becoming the family, friend, and community that so many have lost. We restore hope and dignity by providing individualized care, guidance, and practical support to people affected by HIV/AIDS.

Your partnership can make a life-changing difference.

How your support helps:

  • Counseling and emotional care – helping individuals cope and rebuild self-worth
  • Education and awareness – reducing stigma and encouraging treatment adherence
  • Medical guidance – connecting families to lifesaving care and treatment
  • Legal aid referrals – protecting the rights of vulnerable individuals
  • Basic needs support – food, clothing, and shelter for those in crisis
  • Financial empowerment – start-up capital for micro-businesses that sustain families

Today, TAFCOM is walking alongside more than 400 individuals living with HIV/AIDS, offering them the guidance and resources needed to manage the disease and live with dignity. We are also empowering 10 women entrepreneurs identified through the home based care project to support their families through micro-businesses made possible by our start-up funding.

But the need is far greater than what we can meet alone. With your generosity, we can reach more families, restore hope to more lives, and ensure that no one faces HIV/AIDS in isolation.

Together, we can transform stigma into support, and despair into opportunity.
